At the time that you install Guardio, we perform a scan to identify and fix any existing threats on your device.
With Guardio, you don’t need to perform scans actively. Guardio runs in the background, doesn’t interfere, and scans your device and the web 24/7 to protect you from existing and new risks.
To verify that Guardio is active on your account:
- Open your Chrome browser.
- In the upper right corner, select the Guardio icon
Using that icon, you can access your Personal Dashboard to see a live listing of each of the threats that Guardio has been able to protect you from.
