Why did Guardio charge me during my free trial?

After you successfully subscribe to our trial, you may see a charge from Guardio AUTH on your credit card statement. 

Rest assured that these are not actual charges. This is a credit card verification that Stripe (our payment processor) has to perform with your bank to verify that the card is valid. 

If you decide to continue with your full protection after the trial period, only then will your card be charged for continued service, but if you decide not to continue, that authorization will be removed.
