Some websites are designed to trick you and will start sending you lots of push notifications. These notifications aren’t just annoying and aggressive, they can also steal your information or get you to download more malware.
Guardio's protection is designed to take care of these types of push notifications.
Some malicious websites 'trick' visitors into granting all kinds of permissions to send notifications as part of something unrelated. For example, you might get a message saying “Click “Allow” to continue. And as soon as you click the "Allow" button, you will start getting low-quality and malicious advertising content that continues to appear long after you’ve left the website.

Guardio's protection is tailored for these types of push notifications. They usually 'trick' the user into granting excessive permissions to send notifications as part of an unrelated offering (e.g., "Click Allow to continue"). Once a user clicks the "Allow" button, low-quality and malicious advertising content will start appearing even long after you have left the website.
