You never need to call anyone to cancel Guardio. You can cancel it yourself in a few taps, and it's free.
Scammers post fake "Guardio support" phone numbers on websites, in search ads and in search results. If you call one, they may ask for money, your card details or access to your computer. Guardio's only official phone number is on our Contact page.
The only Guardio number that accepts incoming calls (771) 249-8378.

"Cancel for you" services aren't Guardio
Companies like JustAnswer, Subdelete, Unsubby, Just Ask and Xpendy charge a fee to "cancel" for you. Some send a "cancellation letter" by mail or email. They aren't connected to Guardio, and we can't accept a cancel request sent through them.
- Your Guardio plan keeps running until you cancel it yourself or write to us.
- Their fee isn't a Guardio charge. Contact that company, or your bank, about it.
Signs you've reached a scammer
- They ask you to pay a fee to cancel, or to pay with gift cards, a wire transfer or a payment app.
- They ask to connect to your computer or phone, or to install an app so they can "help".
- They move you to WhatsApp or another messaging app.
- They ask for your password, your full card number or a code that was texted to you.
- They say you owe money or will be sued.
If you already called a fake number
- Call your bank or card company about any payment you made to them. Tell them it was a scam.
- If you let them into your computer or phone, delete any app they asked you to install.
- Change your passwords for your email and your bank. Start with any you typed while they were connected.
- Report it to the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
- Tell us the number you called, so we can warn others. Use our contact form or email support@guard.io.
