How can I cancel my Guardio trial and subscription?

Important Note:

Deleting your Guardio account or uninstalling the Guardio extension will not cancel your free trial, monthly, or yearly subscription. Follow these steps to cancel based on your payment method.

Cancellation Steps

Credit Card or PayPal:

From Desktop Browser Extension or Guardio App:

  1. Go to the Subscription page.
  2. Click "Change" next to Plan.
  3. Click "Turn Off" or "Cancel".
  4. Click on "Switch To Basic".
  5. Click "Cancel Subscription".
    • Note: In the Guardio App, first tap the settings icon (top right), then tap Subscription and “Manage Subscription” before following the steps above.

App Store or Google Play Store:

  1. Open the Guardio App.
  2. Tap the settings icon (top right).
  3. Tap Subscription.
  4. Tap "Cancel Subscription" and follow the instructions.
  5. Tap "Go To Apple Subscriptions" or "Go To Google Play Subscriptions" to complete the cancellation.

If you are unsure how you paid, this is how you can check:

Check your payment method

  1. Go to the Subscription page in your profile.
  2. Check the Payment Method: It will show Credit Card, PayPal, or App Store/Google Play Store.

Additional Information

  • Billing Coverage: Your Premium protection will continue until the end of the current billing cycle. You will not be charged for future services unless you reactivate your membership.
  • Trial Authorization Hold: If you see a charge during your free trial, it’s a temporary hold to verify your payment method, not an actual charge. Need more info? Click here
  • Basic Plan: If you are using the basic plan, there is no subscription page. You simply need to uninstall the Guardio extension or app.
  • If you need assistance with cancellation, our support team can help you. However, sending a message to support does not automatically cancel your plan.
