I don't recognize a charge from Guardio — what is it?

If you see a charge you don't recognize, here's how to figure out where it came from and what to do next.

Check for emails or texts from Guardio first

Search your inbox and texts for any messages from Guardio — an invoice, a welcome email, or a verification message. The email address or phone number the message was sent to is the one your account is registered under.

If you find messages but don't want the subscription, see How do I cancel my Guardio subscription? for the steps.

If you can't find any Guardio emails or texts

It's possible you created an account under a different email address or phone number. To find all accounts linked to you, follow this guide. If you still can't find anything, contact Guardio support at support@guard.io or call (771) 249-8378 and a team member will look into it.

If someone else signed up without your knowledge

If a family member or someone with access to your device signed up without your knowledge, the account and charge are still real. Contact Guardio support at support@guard.io or call (771) 249-8378 and a team member will review the account and your options.

If you think the charge might be a scam

Guardio will never call you unexpectedly asking for payment or personal information. If you received a call from someone claiming to be Guardio and were asked to pay over the phone, do not share any information. Contact Guardio support directly at support@guard.io or call (771) 249-8378 to verify whether the contact was genuine.
